Wish It was the easy, To just step Over Childhood Trauma of Abuse PTS and get over it and get on with my life and be the real person I was meant to be. But it will never happen. You don't get over it ..But learn to live with it... Does Senator Murray Sinclair ..Think, We choose to Carry That Heavy Burden, of PST and The Guilt, we were made to feel, For just for being Born. Evidently, Like so many of the politicians and So called, elected officials Like Murray Sinclair, Does not have the Ability for understanding , Lacks, compassion, Has a Over paying Job and has never seen a bad or hungry day in his life, At our expense, Well good for him.
Here is what my family learned from the boarding school experience in the United States. It has been passed down now from my Grandfather to his children to their children and to their children. 1) Do not trust anyone. People will turn on you if it benefits them. 2) Don't show emotion. People will take advantage of you in weak moments. 3) Don't fight back, you can't win and you can't change anything. 4) Never let anyone know who you are as a person. People will exploit your flaws and turn them against you. 5) Don't ask for help from anyone. The price is not worth getting what you need or want. Some us have spent our lives succumbing to these "lessons" and some have actually overcome a few of them. They remain, however, a dark cloud, that rains in torrents at times and floods our lives. We all learned to swim early on.
What they suffered had an influence on how they raised their children.Having been taught to be ashamed of who you are must make it difficult to give your children pride in their wonderfulheritage
